Theory, Algorithms, and Systems

Third Edition

software

Software comes with the book. The system is called LEKIN and can also be downloaded from http://www.stern.nyu.edu/~mpinedo (the manual is on line).

A somewhat similar system has been developed at the Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg. That system is called LiSA - A Library of Scheduling Algorithms. LiSA can be downloaded from http://fma2.math.uni-magdeburg.de/~lisa.

TORSCHE Scheduling Toolbox for Matlab is a freely (GNU GPL) available toolbox of the scheduling algorithms. TORSCHE is developed at the Czech Technical University in Prague, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Department of Control Engineering. Here is an example of TORSCHE applied to examples from the book. Example 3.3.3 and 5.1.2

Many commercial software companies are willing to provide demonstration software showing off their scheduling products.
